Product Multiple Angles

A 1500g/h generator is a skid- or container-mounted plant rather than a single unit. Multiple titanium electrolytic cells are combined with a high-capacity DC rectifier, a brine station, storage tanks and dosing pumps, all governed by a PLC-based control system. The plant produces 1500 grams of available chlorine per hour - roughly 36 kg per day of chlorine equivalent - as a 0.7-0.8% sodium hypochlorite solution.
At this scale, on-site generation is chosen for reliability and independence: municipal and industrial users get a stable, controllable disinfection supply from salt and water, without hazmat transport, bulk storage or exposure to chemical price fluctuations.
How Does a Sodium Hypochlorite Generator Work?
Salt and water are prepared into brine and supplied to the electrolytic cell. DC power drives the electrochemical reaction through the titanium electrodes, generating chlorine that reacts in the solution to form sodium hypochlorite. The generated disinfectant can then be stored and dosed into the treated water according to application requirements.

Industrial sites use the plant for process water, effluent disinfection and odour control. PLC-controlled dosing keeps residuals within permit limits, and on-site production removes hazmat transport and bulk chemical storage from the site.

Municipal plants must deliver safe drinking water without interruption. A 1500g/h plant produces roughly 36 kg of chlorine equivalent per day on site, removing dependence on chlorine gas and bulk bleach while still meeting disinfection targets.

Coastal fish and shrimp farms operate far from chemical supply chains. Generating sodium hypochlorite on site from salt, water and electricity gives a stable, controllable disinfectant supply for water treatment and equipment sanitation.

Power stations must prevent biofouling in cooling water systems continuously. A 1500g/h plant delivers a reliable chlorination supply around the clock, with capacity scaled by adding cells as the site expands.
Why switch to on-site generation? Chlorine gas and 10–12% bleach are classified as dangerous goods: they must be transported, stored and handled under strict rules, and their price and supply sit outside your control. On-site sodium hypochlorite generation replaces that supply chain with salt and water. Production follows demand, so you never run out of disinfectant; the 0.7–0.8% product stays below hazmat thresholds; and automated dosing cuts chemical waste and labour. For plants in remote or fast-growing regions, this can be the difference between a stable disinfection supply and an interrupted one.

On-site sodium hypochlorite generation can help users reduce dependence on chlorine, while ensuring stable supply. We offer tailored systems for various application needs.
Most generators on the market are assembled from bought-in cells. HOMIXE is different: we are the anode factory.

The electrode is our own product. Every HOMIXE generator is built around coated titanium anodes we manufacture ourselves — MMO, Ru-Ir, Ir-Ta or platinum on GR1 titanium, 8–12 µm coating. The anode decides cell life and power consumption, so making it in-house means a lower-voltage, longer-lasting cell under our own quality control, at factory-direct cost.
Proven in electrodes, trusted by OEMs. For years we have supplied coated titanium anodes and electrolytic cells to electrolyzer manufacturers worldwide — the same electrodes now running inside our own generators.
Tailored, not off-the-shelf. Output, tank size, dosing logic and automation are configured to your water and site. Private-label and OEM/ODM programs welcome.
Backed after the sale. ISO9001, RoHS, CE and SGS certified, with a 1-year system warranty — and because we make the electrodes, spare cells are stocked in the same factory for fast re-supply.
OEM & Customized Solutions
Different projects require different electrode dimensions, coating systems, cell structures and electrical configurations. HOMIXE supports customized solutions for OEM manufacturers, water treatment companies and system integrators.
